Real Good Craic

These works are about the cultural identity of binge drinking in Ireland. With the stereotype of being heavy drinkers, we as a nation tend to feel that it’s our sworn duty to live up to the claim. This may not be a problem for everyone, but it is a problem for someone.

Ireland looses over 1000 a year to alcohol abuse, and contributes to 3 deaths a day.

These empty, hunched and crushed cans embody people who suffer from this, and the colour pallet is reminiscent of the human anatomy.
